A joke

A group of journalists wonder aloud why journalists do not ask a particular question. They debate until one of them asks another "why do you not ask that particular question?", and another, until he arrives at a rational conclusion supported by objective evidence.

Do you see what I did there? Jokes are funny because their punchlines describe behaviours or outcomes that violate expected norms.
